Pastoral Notes

Ministries & Liturgy Coordinators: I am excited to announce that I have appointed two ladies to coordinate Ministries and Liturgy. Barb Griffith will be our Ministries Coordinator, and Beth McLaughlin will be our Liturgy Coordinator. Both have a great sense of service to the Lord and the Church. I am grateful to both for their willingness and zeal to help me serve the People of God at Saint Aidan Parish and the wider community. 

• Barb Griffith is a long-time member of Saint Alphonsus Church. She will organize all the ministries, coordinate with each ministry's contact person, and report to me. She and I will be working to evaluate needs, resume ministries, and identify the ministries' needs and determine how they can best serve the needs of the parish. 
• Beth McLaughlin works tirelessly to assist the parish and has been a great assistance to me in this transition time. She is a long time member of Saint Alexis Church. She will oversee but is not limited to coordinating the following as it pertains to Liturgy; Readers (formerly called Lectors), Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMoHCs or EMs), Altar Servers, Sacristans. Each of these Liturgical Ministries will have a person appointed to lead them. Beth will work with them to make sure that our liturgies run smoothly.
